The Galapagos group of volcanic islands are part of Ecuador and lie about 1050km off the coast in the Pacific Ocean. Their tropical climate is ideally suited to a wide variety of wildlife and exotic fish, of which some species found only in the archipelago, most notably the giant tortoise.

The Pacific waters around the islands abound with fantastic colourful coral reefs, teeming with tropical fish, and is considered one of the the world's premier dive sites'.
