   Siem Reap     -     Silk Farm

Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. The city has colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market. There are many traditional craft shops, silk farms, rice-paddy countryside, fishing villages and a bird sanctuary near the Tonle Sap Lake.

Cambodia is quite famous for its silk and you can have a chance to see the whole process at the silk farm located about 30 minutes west of Siem Reap. It is a farm and vocational school for Cambodians and is part of Artisans d'Angkor
