  Los Glaciares National Park     -     Fitzroy

Often considered to be the greatest remaining wilderness region in Argentina, the vast Los Glaciares National Park (Parque Nacional Los Glaciares) is home to the largest icecap outside the earth's polar regions and is the most scenically picturesque part of Patagonia.

At 3441m high, Monte Fitzroy is easily the highest peak in the area. It was first climbed in 1952 by a French expedition.
